Just an update. Our adjuster submitted everything and finalized a completely new quote. They sent us more additional money than the total they had already sent, so now we’re in the ballpark of being able to have the money to pay for all needed repairs. I sent the check off last week to the mortgage company and they received in yesterday and will begin processing it. They should send us another allotment and then put the remainder in escrow
I still haven’t seen some of the original money that they owed us directly (lodging and food for 3 days and some items they had missed on the lost contents.
The roof and soffits are done, but the siding over the garage still has to be replaced and the decorative pillars in front of the house. Then it’s on to the shed for repairs.
